New page

You are in "Collective Intelligence:1" ( http://WikiWorld.com Our Collective Intelligence manifest? )

jimscarver: yim dies again

David: whats wrong with yim?
David: did you take a look at the section i put in the divide page?
David: i think i got a bit passionate
jimscarver: nice
[[SirKnight]]2000 (sir_knight20002000) joined the room
David: hello
[[SirKnight]]2000: hello
David: do you have any questions or reasons?
jimscarver: ideas? or desires? sirknight?
[[SirKnight]]2000: no. I just saw that the room was intelligence
[[SirKnight]]2000: I thought sounds like me
[[SirKnight]]2000: lol
[[SirKnight]]2000: Highly intellegent
jimscarver: lol
jimscarver: we seek the collective intelligence
jimscarver: still closer to the collective stupidity perhaps....
[[SirKnight]]2000: but I got a low intellegent job. finding out must people I work with only have a high school education. with a kick ass attitude. which I find childish in nature. Instead of youing wisdom. lol
[[SirKnight]]2000: no problem
[[SirKnight]]2000: using wisdom
David: elaborate on young wisdom
[[SirKnight]]2000: no I meant young has meaning instead of saying using
[[SirKnight]]2000: I meant using instead of saying young
[[SirKnight]]2000: excuse the backwards thinking
[[SirKnight]]2000: lol
David: ah
[[SirKnight]]2000: long day at work
[[SirKnight]]2000: I let you get back to your room
David: wisdom
David: you are the reason for our room
[[SirKnight]]2000: I have a greater mission. Help others find GOD
David: ah
[[SirKnight]]2000: so I see you later
David: you should have been here a few mins ago
David: we just finished a conversation about the meaning of life and god
[[SirKnight]]2000: awesome. I like helping people. with ther bad days. Makes my day small
[[SirKnight]]2000: I love it
David: cool
[[SirKnight]]2000: see ya later
[[SirKnight]]2000: Take care and GOD speed on life and happiness
David: ok
David: you as well
sir_knight20002000 left the room
jimscarver: indeed, koom and david have a void to fill, and my void is overflowing
David: lol
David: type faster . . . lol
David: he is looking for a good return on investment of his chat time
David: two eager listeners are not as good as 20
David: too bad that would have been interesting
jimscarver: n8chz: Given that my physical education is limited to "classical" "physics" I had to check out [[PoesEureka]]
jimscarver: my YIM died twice typing to invite you to the chat
n8chz: As described by [[JimScarver]]
n8chz: tanstaafl, I guess
jimscarver: tanstaafl?
n8chz: there ain't no such thing as a free lunch
jimscarver: Poe [[GotIt]] I think.
n8chz: Got what in particular? I'm specifically curious as to what role attraction/repulsion forces play in his model
n8chz joined the room
David: welcom
jimscarver: hi
n8chz: o that chat
jimscarver: in poes day they only knew about attaction and repultion
jimscarver: things can attract or repel
n8chz: inverse square law?
jimscarver: is an effect of a 3 dimensional space
n8chz: what things?
n8chz: anything macroscopic?
n8chz: anything, say, the size of a breadbox?
jimscarver: now we know everthing is a manifestation of propogation of discrete state change information
n8chz: statesolid, liquid, gas?
jimscarver: space is created when electrons eclude one another. in effect defining space between them, causing what we call replusion.
Yahoo Messenger: n8chz has declined to join and sent: Thanks, but no thanks.
n8chz left the room
n8chz joined the room
jimscarver: space is created when electrons eclude one another. in effect defining space between them, causing what we call replusion
jimscarver: exclude
n8chz: no repulsion no space?
jimscarver: right
n8chz: spacethat which is between particles? or just electrons?
jimscarver: (their light cones tilt away from eachother giving each a separate reference frame)
n8chz: light cones?
jimscarver: well, electrons are not the simplest stuff, but they are close, they have just two dimensions, they are not objects in the ordinary sence
n8chz: electrons are 2 dimensional?
jimscarver: (that was for koom benefit, we can get back to light cones if you want to go that far later)
n8chz: if light cones are far, what is near?
David: frame work to connect existing knowledge with new
jimscarver: yes. the are defined 100% by just 2 variables, we call them spin and charge.
n8chz: charge
-1? spin
?
n8chz: -e?
n8chz: spin+/-1/2?
jimscarver: whatever we call it is misleading, they are just values, charge is negative, spin is either up or down (left or right if you prefer)
jimscarver: electrons of the same spin tend to create space, opposite spin tends to collaps space but fill limited states
n8chz: Does this pertain to bonding and antibonding orbitals?
jimscarver: indirectly
David: electrons in themselves are not solid objects
jimscarver: incomplete shells have readily avalable empty states
David: they manifest solidity in aggregate
n8chz: empty statesNV, UT?
David: does the area between two mass of electrons have available empty states?
n8chz: Oh empty statesoctet rule
jimscarver: well, you can't ever really touch anything you call solid, as you get close, so many exclusion events make just enough space to keep you from touching.
n8chz: solidity is the fact that the touch organ and the thing don't mix, no?
jimscarver: not exactly octet, octet rule?
n8chz: are there empty states in the noble elements?
jimscarver: just electrons excluding eachother defining space between you and the object.
n8chz: this electrons excluding each other is what makes for a crystal lattice?
jimscarver: there are empty states in everthing above absolute zero which is everything.
jimscarver: it keeps the atoms more of less separate in a chrystal
n8chz: above zero temperaturenonzero velocity?
n8chz: more velocitymore space?
jimscarver: external state change is proportional to temperature
jimscarver: yes, the hoter it is the more space it makes
jimscarver: hotter
David: is it possible to getit(informationPhysics) with out classical physics background or quantam
jimscarver: the sun makes a solar wind of space that can blow you to the next star.
n8chz: is it possible with classical physics backgrount?
n8chz: the solar wind is photons in motion?
jimscarver: well, create enough space between you and it that you are at the next start.
jimscarver: the solar wind is space created by electron exclusion events
n8chz: so there is repulsion between macroscopic objects?
David: so this begs the question what are the mechanics of an electron exclusion event
n8chz: is it a mistake to think solar wind is to photons as wind wind is to air molecules?
jimscarver: when there is an exclusion event we say a photon when this way or that was depending on our perspective, but really, twhat happened, was electrons excluded eachother.
jimscarver: not so much a mistake, but photons are state change information, not objects in the normal sence.
n8chz: when electrons exclude each other, is there an increase in the amount of space there is?
David: or is space conserved
n8chz: or is space conserved?
jimscarver: the mehanics are simple, space is defined between them.
n8chz:
n8chz: between the mechanics?
David: lmao
jimscarver: there is an increase, but the information about the state change is eventually lost, collapsing space manifesting attraction, gravity.
n8chz: so for every space creation event there is exactly one space destruction event? sort of like humyn lives?
David: i have nothing in my mind to hang this on
n8chz: does "eventually" denote a quantity or not? does anything denote a quantity?
jimscarver: eventually, but we seem to see a universe expanding without bound...
n8chz: then these exclusion events outnumber loss of information events?
jimscarver: the earth consumes 32 feet of space at its surface every second.
n8chz: not cubic feet?
jimscarver: most of the space it is collapsing was created billions of years ago, (below microwave)
jimscarver: 32 feet, the volume is the area of the planet times 32
jimscarver: i got a train to catch
n8chz: 32 feet per square foot?
n8chz: catch your train
David: chatchya later
n8chz: thank you for all the fish
jimscarver: nice chatting L
