Life is good. I was almost a celebrity cause nobody has seen me in a while. I used to do drinking at least once a week. what are fridays for anyhow? But Charlotte was just commenting that I don&#039;t drink much anymore (except at my kids parties) and ain&#039;t happy I&#039;m having a good time. The fact is I can&#039;t drink much anymore-- I get sick if I do-- for three days.<br /> <br /> I saw a crack head this morning. I felt sorry to see him so blitzed so early in the morning. His eyes were glazed over and could barely walk. But I envied him too. Crack, and even cocaine are not drugs I see any use for. But he was out their, flying high, far beyond mortal men. His trip probly cost more than he could obtain legally. I remember about 20 years ago the unemployment rate among blacks in Newark age 18 to 25 was 80%. This guy was still on the street 20 years later, probably supporting a habit costing more than most folks make working.<br /> <br /> I had enough tonight.
