It's been a hell of a week. I booked my flights to florida for my dental appt and 2nd excusion on the "Lucky Duck" sloop. I do live [[TheGoodLife]].

I did not vote, I am against all the candidates. I could not even vote against anyone.

I suppose it is my duty to vote against the republicans, as war is stupider than anything. but I could not bring myself to vote for stupidity at all.

Speaking of stupid, we had vandals with a lot of time on their hands and nothing meaningfull to do. They totally distroyed wikiworld and initiated a week of hell.

I manage this system in exchange for free hosting. We have management software, paid for, so that I should not have much to do in the way of management as i am a poor manager.

But, in restoring wikiworld, the managment software got really stupid and deleted everything else.

Thank God I made lots of backups. Well, I'd be stupid not to. I've been put out of business many times in the last 30 years by hackers. I'd be rich and famous no doubt otherwize.

I sympathize with the vandals because this site represents FREEDOM of thought. When 4chan was disabled WE made a judgement against others enforsing our idea of [[TheGoodLife]]. 1st amendment rights are sacred to me and I allowed that right to be compromized. Truth, reality, I value. Self rightousness and judgement I detest.

4chan was a good participant for a number of years. They obeyed our wishes and did not exhibit potentially offensive material here generally. Offences were most often fixed promptly as wikiworld includes family sites.

Speaking of spupid, I lost emails and databases three time due to the destructive nature of pleskrestore. I have lost my credibility as an IT professional.

So why am I happy? Because life is good beyond my wildest expectations.

I should be sleeping. i finally enhanced and reenabled all our normal backups today, after a sleepless week of failed recoveries and lost programs twice rewritten.
