Zero point is zero point for the most part. In general only energy higher than the [[ZPE]] is really usefull for anything.<br />

The sound of a sea shell or the sound of a crystal radio tuned to where there is no transmission is energy from the edge of the [[ZPE]].<br />

The problem of extracting energy from the [[ZPE]] is information theoretical and can only be done with a mechanism like the [[WhitescarverClock]]. I have tried, theorectically, some techneques not unlike the other quacks above, but found none that work on a large scale yet.
