I find this wiki interesting, yet confusing. Please don't mind me while I stumble around and read.

best, mark
WikiFaq

Q: Is AnewGo a person? If so, these would be similar pages: MarkDilleyCitizenship, MarkDilleyCourtRoom?

A: AnewGo is both a person and a project.%%%
---AnewGo is a project, I call him by AnewGo because it's simpler the calling him PhilBannigan every time.

Q: Why then doesn't Phil speak for himself? Follow up question, why assign gender to the project?

A: Phil does speak for himself. Most of his postings are signed with 'AnewGo'. Many people make comments and suggestions for the project, AnewGo. But only Phil/AnewGo speaks for his unique viewpoint.
---Gender assigned? Well, you use your wikiworld name for AnewGo, so you, MarkDilley I would call a him, and someone with a name characteristic of a girl I'd call a she. AnewGo is in a unique position with his name.
With the famaliar name of 'Phil', I presume Phil is male. That is the association I have for all the people I know that go by 'Phil'. If I am wrong, I apologize to Phil. I am guessing that other people that are using the 'male' pronouns for Phil either have similar associations or they are just defaulting their language to be male out of habit or their speech preference for unknown gender of person. --StarPilot
Q: Has there been a discussion on possible WikiStandards, like RealName? best, mark

A: There has been a discussion on WikiStandards, including names. It seems to have been decided that since the current user group of WikiWorld is small, no enforcement was going to be used to make people use RealName. This might change in the future, if the consensus of WikiWorld decides it would rather change/enforce such a practice.

Q: I have to sign in every time I want to edit or preview. Help====
====

A: You have cookies disabled. Enable wikiword to give you a cookie, and you will only have to sign in once after that, until you 'Sign Out'.
----
Explaination of the history of ANEWGO word. I created Anewgo concept on the eve of the invasion of Iraq. It was first expressed in http://www.anewgo.tk . Then I discovered wiki. I began a small page AnewGo calling for some interest on this server, and since only that hour I had discovered wiki AnewGo became my id. I was happy to continue that for for a time, but since have made PhillipBannigan my personal page and sign most postings as PhillipBannigan now. I presume WikiWorld uses a cookie method to login, so my machine still logs in under AnewGo.

I suppose for a period of time I was the only citizen of AnewGo.

---PhillipBannigan

----
PhillipBannigan, you certainly were, until JimScarver and the others signed up. ;-)

MarkDilley, I can understand your confusion. This wiki, WikiWorld, has many interest. It is hosted by someone deeply interested in seeing the world improved (right now and into the future), that is a scientist working with and advancing InformationPhysics, works in the field of computers, and has many interesting ideas and attitudes. And this site has attracted quite a few other odd individuals. :-)

AnewGo, as an effort to improve the world, certainly fits into JimScarver's interest. And that is why AnewGo (the project) has found a home here. ---StarPilot

Hi Mark, lot to read, here and elsewhere. -- MattisManzel
