Did you know you can send money online with [[PayPal]]?

[[PayPal]] lets you send money safely and securely to anyone with
an email address. You can settle restaurant tabs with colleagues,
pay friends for movie tickets, or buy a baseball card at an
online auction. You can also send personalized money requests
to your friends for a group event or party.

[[PayPal]], the world's #1 online payment service, is accepted on
over 3 million eBay(TM) auctions and by thousands of online shops.
Over 20 million people in 38 countries worldwide use [[PayPal]].

Signing up for [[PayPal]] is easy. It takes two minutes, and you'll
even get $5 when you complete [[PayPal]]'s new account bonus
requirements. To learn more, or get started, visit [[PayPal]]'s
website at:

(this helps support [[JeffAndErin]]'s GPS fund)
----
I'd rather just send Jeff $5 cash in the mail, or a money order. I've had too many friends and associates get continually screwed by [[PayPal]]. I'd never support them in any fashion I am not forced to. Not many companies are further down on my lists. ---StarPilot
----
We offer merchant services but often can't underwrite card processing for internet startups. The monthly fees are are a hardship for startups. In addition we sometimes require an escrow deposit against high risk accounts. [[PayPal]] allows anyone with a bank account to accept cerdit cards and echecks. In addition, it provides safty to the shopper in that they do not need to give any credit card information to vendors that accept paypal. It is just about the safest way to shop. It enables business on the internet for the little guy. There are really no alternatives with the services and safety paypal offers with no monthly fees.

I don't like giving personal information to sites such as paypal, but it is better to give it in one place than everyplace. I like having the chioce to use paypal at shops and will use it just to save rekeying all my info, i can uderstand that other like to choice to not use it but many businesses or individuals can't justify a real merchant account. [[ProPay]] is an option, without the security benefits however.

The downside of any credit card provcessing is that your money is withheld when there is a dispute. I don't know if it is worse with [[PayPal]]. Many people I know use [[PayPal]] and like it. -- [[JimScarver]]
