Thought Agent: any system that can manipulate thought.

Humans presumably have [[ThoughtAgents]] competing and working together for air space in the conscious [[mind]]. Humans may become thought agents of a larger [[CollectiveIntelligence]]. [[ThoughtAgents]] operate according to rules or are motivated by internal forces. [[ThoughtAgents]] may or may not be aware of the larger [[mind]]. Likewise the larger [[mind]] may or may not be aware of it’s individual [[ThoughtAgents]].
Admin team, Please consider changing the name of this page to remove the plural form. I wasn't thinking clearly when I added this page. --David Siegel (originator)
----
Thought is an information process. A basic thought agent repeats its input after a delay. An effective thought agent, repeats its input at an appropriate time. Other thought agents logically manipulate their inputs and recognize patterns.
The [[mind]] appears to include many [[Consciousness]]es. A Consiousness is a thought agent.
