Voting may not be closed less than one week from the opening of a [[VotingPeriod]], nor more than one and one half months after the opening. Only a Chair may close a [[VotingPeriod]].<br /> <br /> The one week [[VotingPeriod]] minimum ensures that you may check only once a week without missing anything. Chairs are encouraged to lengthen the voting period as necessary to provide everyone a chance to vote.<br /> <br /> Note that any member may declare their vote BEFORE the opening of a [[VotingPeriod]]. All such declarations must be made on the page corresponding to the motion. Such declarations may be changed at any time by that member.
