== Our Purpose ==
[[WikiWorld]] is an experiment and demonstration of a virtual collaborative community fostering our [[CollectiveIntelligence]] using a collaborative authoring environment.

== How WE Become ==
[[WE]] are emerging [[CollectiveIntelligence]], different from what WE were. == Why WE Become ==
[[WE]] are a multi-national collaboration applying our shared principles, reason and resources toward a better tomorrow of sustained growth such that we may live [[TheGoodLife]] in our own way according to our [[SocialContract]].

== Who is the [[WE]]? ==
The [[WE]] is made of everyone, every single human, that has, is, and will be communicating with their fellow humans. That's one very large [[CollectiveIntelligence]]. Large collective intelligences have their problems (namely, [[CollectiveStupidity]]).

However, *we* at [[WikiWorld]] believe that it is possible to uplift the [[WE]], through our and others actions, so that all living humans may live [[TheGoodLife]]. As such, we seek knowledge, dialog, and ideas to help enable this dream to come true.

== What we are not ==

WE are not impersonal. WE are not a grand cacophony of ideas mixed together like chopsuey. Our symphonic euphony is the combination of the unified voice of the entire orchestra punctuated by solos and duets of our individuals. WE often quote great individuals, particularly ourselves, exemplifing and personalizing the scope and limits of what WE share.

== What [[WE]] are becoming ==
You will often see talk involving an idealized [[WE]]. This is a reference to a future [[WE]] that is smart enough to enable each of its component parts (us humans) to live to their fullest ability, creating synergy and [[FutureValue]] for all. This ConciousEvolution of humanity is a dream not yet manifest. Instead this [[WE]] acts as an "unseen hand" that creates emerging order in the [[WE]] unconcious. Self awareness of this [[WE]] requires that individuals learn to let [[FutureValue]] to be our guide, rather then short term greed, and [[ZeroSumGame]] thinking.

It is not a collective where we equitably distribute some shared notion of [[TheGoodLife]]. Instead it not only recognizes that ones person's poison is another medicine, and one person's garbage is another treasure, in a realm of [[CooperativeDiversity]], it capitalizes on that fact by encouraging and cherishing the diversity of our individuals.

This usage of [[WE]] pervades [[JimScarver]]'s writing here.

There is a simpler "we" connotation implied here. It is the '''*we*''', and refers to the active people, here and elsewhere, working towards the uplifting of the [[WE]]. It works out to be synonymous with [[WikiWorld]]. That is, after all, [[WikiWorld]]'s cause primus.
