Christian law is to love God and love one another. All of God's law is dependent on this.

Every now and then breaking something can be very rewarding (see AntiSocial). Generally, however, doing the work of God the Creator is creating, not destroying.

I am a Spiritualist-- I do believe in spooks, and have seen that God reveals himself to all of his peoples in magnificent ways and do not doubt the validity of any religion. I don't belong to any organized Christian church but belong to The Church of Jesus Christ because I live in him and he lives in me and I choose to follow his way.

Here is my play on the Good Friday story and comments from the Zen Christian group. --- ====The day Jesus got himself bumped off

==

On a mountain near Jerusalem

Jesus: Why God?

God: The prophecy must be fulfilled to free Israel from original sin that they may seek a personal relationship with me.

Jesus: But nobody wants to talk to you.

God: Your body will be your church and you conquering death and promising all in the church eternal life will loosen their lips.

Jesus: Okay.

Back at the campfire

Jesus: Hey guys we are going to parade me into Jerusalem tomorrow as King of the Jews====

==

Guys: Hey man, that treason, they will crucify you.

Jesus: That's the idea====

==

Guys: No way man, that sounds like a real bummer. We are having too much fun.

Jesus: I just spoke to the big guy, and he says we are on.

Guys: But we have no crown, we have no horses and chariot.

Jesus, I'll ware a crown of thorns and we will steal a donkey.

Guys: But they will crucify you.

Jesus: Now you're getting it.

Jerusalem

Jesus: Why haven't I been arrested?

Guys: Nobody reported you.

Jesus, what about the guy we stole the donkey from?

Guys: We told him the Lord had need of it and he said okay.

Jesus: One of you is going to have to turn me in.

Guys: No way man====

==

Jesus: Was that hesitation, Judas, you are elected.

In the court

The court: Do you teach that you are king of the Jews?

Jesus: I am what you say I am, it is the student who says what is learned, not the teacher who says what is taught.

On the cross:

Jesus: Why have you left me?

God: You are already with me.

Jesus: Okay.

Purpose in Life and Death

Jesus chose Death that I might know him and choose Life. He is alive in me and I am alive in him.

kaori --

Jesus is in you and you in Jesus. So what is in-ness?

JC 2 --

In-ness is understanding, and then being. Very few people understand Jesus anymore.

Woodsman -- I thirst

JimScarver--

When we become something we abandon the self, yet when we return to the self, the self has becomes greater as it includes that which we became.

A collection of cells comprise a living organism. A society of living cells becomes self. A collection of beings who surrender their being to their master become part of the physical body of their master. A society of those give themselves freely to God become the living body of God.

Jesus is here for the sinners, not the righteous. He provides a short cut path to enlightenment that can lack the depth and discipline of the Zen.

In-ness is oneness and separateness together. It is surrendering will without surrendering self. It is being God and being one self at the same time. It is becoming a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Indeed, Jesus is so badly understood I am often ashamed to call myself Christian. But he said, those who are not against us are with us and I believe that though it is common for their to be obnoxious Christians, Jesus lives in them too and he will be fulfilled through them as well.

It turns out Jesus is a really awesome dude with an awesome vision for humanity. But his time is not yet come.

If you are a seeker, do not abandon your quest and give your life to Jesus. He will smile and say that he needs nothing from you, "My burden is light". The best thing you can do is include his teachings in your meditations that you might become a fulfilled child of God at his side.
