Political parties are a necessary evil. Political systems, are ChaordicSystems. Until the information age, parties were the only way to collaborate in the political system based on interests rather than geography. The two party system tends to keep power in the hands of the wealthy, which can be a good thing, as they have the most at stake in maintaining a healthy economy and hanging on to wealth, does take some competence. It is better that the successful rule, than the bums. The tyranny of the majority acts with the lowest common denominator of humanity rather than the CollectiveIntelligence. Political parties are necessary until we have a better way.
Now we have the power. The Internet is free. Should we have the vision, we can accomplish anything. Individuals together with purpose are more powerful than anyone.
