WhatIsaWiki

A Wiki is a collection of pages, authored by all users of the site. The ability to Create, edit and add content on any page makes a wiki brilliant for discussion, information finding and any other type of things that may need to be communicated.

A wiki page though, does not conform to HTML markup as it Uses its own Wiki Mark Up (see: TextFormattingRules) Often the markup changes slightly from wiki to wiki, but all are similair.

To learn more visit the site often thought as the original wiki, [1], as this has many users and can teach you alot about a wiki.
