Speculation that every electron in the universe has tiny influences on every other electron in the universe is contradicted by the photo electric effect. The photo electric effect suggest strongly that momentum of the photon is produced by exactly one electron and transfered to exactly one electron and there are no other tiny influences.

You can understand electrodynamics as perfect discrete ballistics of elastic electrons and photons (tHooft) but the model breaks when we consider diffferent reference frames because, in my view, and the view of background free electrodynamics, the kinetics do not happen in space and time, but ARE space and time.

The normal human idea is that space and time must exist independent of anything happening, but the universe it seems, does not care what people think.

If we insist of keeping our classical ideas, then the quantum is strange. If we allow it to be only what can be measured and don't add human ideas of space and time then it is logical.

The gazzions of virtual electrons and positrons in the Dirac's soup of the vacuum, do have a function kinetically, they act like springs the electrons bounce off of at a distance. Sure we think this must take time, but the reality is stranger, it may take space instead. Occupied quantum momentum states manifest independent state (exclusion principle) instantainiously.

Such events manifest the synchronization of clocks that exhibit time itself. they exhibit time independence between the clock by t=x/c but not any absolute direction in time.

Turned/resonant frequencies reflect such that relativily they become different, lower frequencies.

Photons over the Plank energy would be black holes and do not exist. Attempts to make them smaller make particle zoo's instead, so yes, they become matter. The smallest photons are the Plank distance ~10^-39 meters have the energy equivalent of a speck of dust by e=m*c^2, about enough to blow up the house.

10 meter photons can be caught with a 10 meter antenna only (effective electrical distance). We have no bases to assume they are any other size. Xrays are smaller than visible light and can pass through spaces which larger visible light photons cannot.

Photons mediate the transfer of momentum between electrons in two dimensions, one lateral, one transverse, right handedly up or down. We say there was a photon because there was a momentum transfer. They do not exist before or after the transfer. Photons have no other manifestation so their size not meaningful except for the size of the folding quantum potentials in the vacuum soup of virtual electrons and positrons which conducts the momentum. The photon is just our idea of the momentum transfer.

My views are certainly unorthodox. But to think of photons as some kind of classical particle or wave is certainly wrong according to modern theory.

Plank's black body radiation and Einstein's photo electric effect proved the quantum nature of light, and that the classical notion of light as waves is wrong. But light is not classical particles either.

If you believe in the standard model of the quantum, photons do not exist unless accompanied by their backward in time anti photon partner which travels in the opposite direction by an absolute clock.

If you take into account relativity you find that the direction of photon travel may be dependent of the the clock of the observer.

So if photons exist as an actual thing that goes from point A to point B, it is a relative existence which is not necessarily the same for all observers.

The underlying quantum action is absolute for all observers with respect to what happens (as opposed to what might happen), but momentum itself is relative to motion such that the direction of energy transfer, i.e. the perceived photon, may also be relative to motion.

We can consider each frame of reference of two approaching electrons and and the frame where each electron is of equal energy. In each electron frame the kinetic energy of the electron itself is zero and the opposite electron is of higher energy. The photon is considered to have travelled from higher energy to lower energy. Thus each frame sees the proton going the opposite way. In the third frame we see the electron repel each other instantaneously at a distance as if they bounce on a resonate grid between them (both ways in time in the standard model). It is much more logical in my view to look at it as a kinetic process in the soup of virtual particles in the vacuum than to try to impose a particle or wave nature.

The relative resonate grid at the relative energy of the perceiver is real to the perceiver. It is just that each observer sees a different resonant grid. The existence of the grid is only relative, but its ability to reflect the tuned relative frequency is real.

Thus photons don't exist absolutely in the classical sense, but neither do electrons positrons, or neutrinos which share a relative perception with photons. Only quantum action is absolute and agreed to by all observers which may be either across space or time depending on who is looking.

The spacetime intervals actually manifest by energy (photons) is the only spacetime known to exist and the quantum action which manifests photons in our frame are the actions which, along with the the zero point energy photons manifest time and space dynamically so far as we can determine.

There are momentum propagating that occupy quantum state. Those propagating in two dimensions we call photons. At the bottom there is only quantum action. Our relative perception of those actions assigns them magnitude.

> Then, there are photons that are not shield-able.

A shield occupies states, excluding their occupation by incoming momenta.

> For example, a steel box with the air evacuated. > > Still there is "space/distance" on the inside.

The vacuum is the lowest temperature, about 3 degrees. Energy (propagating momentum) flows from higher to lower energy. Shielding may momentarily lower the temperature inside the box, but the unoccupied states invite occupation. Potentials will pass through the box and from the box to fill all the missing states.

> Made by (photons) ?

Vacuum states a 3 degrees or less. This corresponds to photons of micron size (microwaves) and longer, up to the size of the universe. The space, as would be revealed by a photon propagating through it would appear to be occupied by low energy momentum (photons) in great numbers sufficient to exhibit the zero point energy, about 185 GeV/cm^3.

The Casmire effect is a case where the shielding does result in the contraction of spacetime between two metal sheets VERY close together.

There is not enough space between them to generate longer photons

(colder, small momentum) which can occupy state between the plates.

It is the photon that exhibits the virtual electrons and positrons exchanging momentum that exhibit the photon. What makes the photon less than fundamental in one sense is that not all momentum exchanges need exhibit the same 2D folding characteristics of the photon. One dimensional neutrino interactions, etc. also play a part in manifesting state space.

Two dimensional propagating momentum is not a thing in the ordinary sense. Things are usually considered to be at least 3D.

I have barely introduced the complete nature of the folding potentials of the photon that includes hidden dimension and folding at twice light speed as revealed by Penrose, Cramer and Mead and evidenced in the standard model. Progress at light speed along spin networks includes equal transverse motion such that the speed of the folding momentum is 2c. I most often ignore this as actual progress is limited to c, but necessary to understand what is actually happening at the bottom layer. In it's ordinary usage, spin one photons are actually composed of a half spin photon and its spin one half backwards in time anti-photon partner together. The kinetic interpretation is simpler. The kinetic potentials simply are space and time by x=c*t, e=h/t.

Space is free energy, matter is trapped energy. Atoms receive photons becoming more massive because they knot the energy into five dimensions, catching it. Mass is lost and space is gained when photons are emitted.

Classically, kinetic energy varies with the square of velocity by .5*m*v^2. Since velocity is relative, so is momentum, m*v and energy .5*m*v^2.

In the rest frame of either electron, it has zero velocity and zero kinetic energy and the other is approaching at some speed, say 10 meters per second, with an energy of 50*m.

In the frame where each is approaching at 5 meters per second each has an energy of 12.5*m or 25*m total for both.

So the velocities and energies, as well as the total energy of the system depend on who is looking.

However, for speeds well below the speed of light the velocities do add, v+v=2*v. Conservation of energy does not mean you get the same energy when you mix reference frames. The v^2 terms messes that up, which is why using momentum, m*v, is sometimes more convenient as changes in momentum are independent of reference frame while changes in energy are not.

Who is talking about relativistic effect?????

In the frame where both masses are seen at 5mps the KE is 25*m. In either frame where one is at rest and the other is going 10mps the energy is 50*m.

In classical dynamics total energy depends on the frame you choose. Why do you deny that?

Indirect self interaction is the basic requirement for an object to exist in it's envronment.

Existence bestows Being.

Consiousness requires a model of self and the environment and is bestowed to systems of Being.

he wave view is limiting, nothing is waving.

Ordering are what emerges, these are time like for everyone but relative, dependent on perspective such that time and space (as time independence), are manifest.

The are no oscillators in nothingness, yet resonances are perceived.

As Mead suggests, nature conspires to discriminate equal energies such that they reflect to become unequal in distinct frames. Somehow nature knows they are independent and enforces them to be so by making them different, defining independent states (Pauli exclusion principle). Such are the expansions that exhibit the size of the universe being greater than zero.

Nothing pops into or out of existence spontaneously in all of experience. There is no bases to presume differently in the quantum except by our ignorance of where the energy comes from (the early universe). The perceived relative resonant structure of the vacuum is orchestrated dynamically by the highest relative energy. While the resonant grid is purported to suggest a wave nature, nothing is waving.

Waves are the antithesis of discrete physics in my view.

The idea that some sort of wave underlies a matrix transformation or orthogonal quantum folding is simply wrong. The quantum simply folds independently(orthogonally), and how we may interpret the direction, or path of that fold in our delusion of a continuum has not yet been determined.

It is only spooky action at a distance only if we presume the delusion of the continuum is real and the quantum somehow knew in advance how it would be perceived to approximate that false continuum.
