AnimalCommunication

From WikiWorld

Steps in animal interaction, communication, intelligence

  1. confrontation
  2. chase or run (fight or flight)
  3. follow or lead (win or lose, eat or be eaten)
  4. acceptance or exile
  5. oneness or isolation

The same simple process appearently pervades all animal interation.

It is how composite entities become.

This model well-founded, mechanically, but too constrictive in its terms, and perhaps in its inferrence-perspectives. Here's one that works for contact with alien species in my experience - where repetition of -very simple- signals is critical in establishing trusted parsing, and then connectivity:

  1. Bionotice
  2. Sensory Contact
  3. Parsing
  4. Singal
  5. Response Parse
  6. ReSignal
  7. Response Parse
  8. ReSingal
  9. ReSpawn (d)

There is another dance...

  1. Notice
  2. Signal
  3. Acknowledge
  4. ReSpawn(d)

The puzzles of animal communications are properties of our modes of approach, and have nothing whatsoever to do with any sentience problem, lack of complexity, or lack of communicatory ability in animals. It is instead, our human (scientific, relgious and philosophical) systems which prescribe us from accessing the naturally connective cognitive 'organs' which allow consistent and subtle communications with animals of any sort, plants, insects, even cells.

Humans are born 'interscalarly connective' in their communications abilities. Our science and 'ways of knowing' shave this off, offering cages of expertise, in a world whose only experts are children. There are no adults here. Adults are scalar assemblages of children.
