Synonym for infra red light.

Also a mythical form of anti-light used in RPGs which makes things darker. The question is, might it be possible that at some time in the future we could shine real BlackLight from a flashlight (and not get sucked in to the BlackHole inside :-) ).

I must be pop culture corrupted. BlackLight means Ultra-Violet light to me. Like the Black Lights in a club. Makes all the white stuff really stand out while everything else is dim.

Or do I just have bad data on what frequency those lights are making?

What are commonly called blacklights are ultra-violet, they are at a higher frequency than light, but infra red is also out side the light spectrum and therefore black.

The true negative of the flashlight would a sort of directed gravity gun. It would drag you in the direction it pointed. I have been thinking about some variations of that for high speed space travel. It would receive the ZPE from one direction and loop it around forward to accelerate the cargo (us) and then loop it back to jet it out the back using supercooled magnets. If I dissapear for a few hundred years you can assume I got it to work. Don't hold your breath waiting, lol -- JimScarver

Living is learning if you stop being wrong you are dead. (did I just say that somewhere else... senior moment). Thankfully we can be assured that we are always wrong in some greater context, there is always a higher truth, and we can live on. It is by error we learn.
