The car wreck, Phyllis recovers, it’s an uphill battle.

We lost our last connection with the past this weekend (01/03) when we were rear-ended in a snowstorm on the way home from church and our WindStar is now a TOTAL wreck. Phyllis is suffering from whiplash, but the insurance companies have been very supportive through the ordeal.

(UPDATE) Turns out that we purchased a brand new 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander and we love it. Phyllis on the other hand had to do drug and physical therapy from her injuries. The pain medication caused intestinal malfunction and she had to be treated for another bowel blockage, which then led to a bout with pneumonia. She finally had back surgery in September 2004 and is doing quite well now.
