Dear Eagle Scout Review committee,

It gives my great pleasure to recommend Kenneth Schreihofer unconditionally for acceptance as an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.

As a long term friend, colleague and coworker of Kenneth's parents, I have watched Kenneth grow into the man he has become. My father is man of great character and an Eagle Scout. Kenneth is one of the few people I have met in my lifetime that I strongly feel is of a comparable character which makes him an ideal candidate for the honored position and exemplary role which an Eagle Scout represents.

In the last few years I have had the pleasure of interacting with Kenneth on-line regularly where we have participated in on-line communities together, and Kenneth has exhibited great thoughtfulness and humanitarianism uncharacteristic of someone his age. I have seen his dedication to scouting in his tireless efforts building the website for his troupe singlehandedly, He learned the technology primarily through his own research for the purpose of supporting his scout troupe. Kenneth had occasion to apply his technology skill to assisting a business entrepreneur (entcent.com) develop his online system. When asked how he would like to be compensated for his efforts, Kenneth requested that a donation be made to the Boy Scouts. His dedication to scouting is truly exemplary.

As I remember from my own scouting days, a scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. I may not have these correct, but Kenneth certainly has, and his exemplification of these virtues will most certainly bring honor to the Boy Scouts and honor to the role of being an Eagle Scout.

I trust your review of Kenneth will be favorable as it is difficult to imagine a more qualified candidate.
