I have often wanted to control multiple computers with one keyboard and mouse and copy and paste between the two computers.

Today I am living that reality at home. I just move my mouse unto the screen I want to control and the keyboard types there too.

At work I set it up earier in the week.

It even works between Window, Linux and Mac machines. The computers just need to be on the network.
