War is a type of competitive game. It is the deadliest type, and probably the most high-stakes type of competitive game. (See InformationGaming) Like any game, it has rules. Those who are found culpable (guilty) of breaking the rules can be sanctioned (penalized). One rule of InformationWar is the obligation to avoid HackerHeadaches.

InformationWarfare, also known as I-War, IW, C4I, or Cyberwar, has recently become of increasing importance to the military, the intelligence community, and the business world. The purpose of the IASIW is to facilitate an understanding of information warfare with reference to both military and civilian life.
