New here anyhow.....

"There is nothing new under the sun." Ecclesiastes, Holy Bible

In the 90's I found notes I made in the 70's. I was shocked to see in my 20 year old notes several new ideas I had had in the last few months. -- JimScarver

Quantum causality is described in 2000 year old writings.

Ideas only become recognizable as ideas when their time has come. A new paradigm in science is not adopted until the old scientists die.

Ideas are social, not individual. If I tell you something you don't already know you won't have the vaguest idea what I am talking about.

If I have not the common basis of understanding, it is true that I cannot understand your idea. That doesn't make the idea social. That makes communicating your idea to me, social.

Ideas are however, mental entities. Ideas shared can spread. They inhabit our GreyMatter, and can use any medium of communication to spread to new GreyMatter. This concept is known as Memes. Check out http://www.memes.net/ or http://www.memes.org/ for more information.---StarPilot
