Phyllis takes a trip at the mall

On September 13th 2002 Phyllis rushed to the mall to get Bill (who was ready to board a Washington DC bound flight) a birthday present. As she rushed through the parking lot at J.C. Penny, she tripped on a curb and fell on her hand, dislocating her left middle finger. The end of her finger was now at a lateral right angle to the base. Since Bill was not in town yet, Adam and Johanna ran over from Maryland to meet her at the Hospital. Apparently it was a site to see. People say it brought on a strange combination of nausea and hysteria to look at it. After a couple of weeks disability and a few months of physical therapy Phyllis was able to go shopping again.
