Talk:Sidebar

The navigation bar on the left is very customizable, and will accept any Wiki page as a link. This can be a very useful tool for us. I think that it would be a convenient way to access active pages. So, we just need suggestions as to what should be added, as well as changed.

StarPilot Shouldn't Community Portal = our old page link list (ie, Wikis here, other highly interesting links)?

Overview:

Alle proposed a place for the WE page on the sidebar. StarPilot thinks the WE=concept is so central in the WikiWorld concept that it does not need a place on the side-bar.

If we place WE on the side-bar it will have the prominent place it deserves. Perhaps even above Home Page. An user sees it all the time as a reminder that this WikiWorld is a collective effort. We can not force ourselves to create a WE link on every page. You think we have to be economical of the sidebar?

ToDo is an event for the worker. Let us rename Current Events in ToDo.

StarPilot I don't see ToDo nor WE as links from the main navigation bar. ToDo would be more appropriate under Current events (as work waiting to be done), and WE is one of the top links on the WikiWorld websites. It's a WikiWorld's jargon term, and by linking WE as we do, any newcomer can simply click on it to find out what it is.
