Bill switches gears and joins Teamster Local 639 in Washington D.C.

While my goal is to leave the trucking industry and settle into Information Technology field, I have taken a career detour in order to become IT Certified and bring closure to my Teamster retirement vesting issues. Local 639 in Washington has an excellent reputation for resolving pension disputes and has reciprocity with both of my former locals. I have been working for Roadway Express and have been offered a full time position. In a perfect world, I could end up with vesting for 16 years in Orlando and 6 more in New Jersey. Three more years here would give me 25 at age 57 or almost full retirement credit. I can then start my new IT career. Check out my LatestResume
